Nancy Alcorn, (PureLife 2008 Keynote
Speaker), spent the first eight years of her career working for the
State of Tennessee focused on juvenile delinquent girls,
investigating child abuse cases, and supervising foster care. She
witnessed first-hand the inadequacy of these programs to offer real
transformation in the lives of troubled individuals. Out of this
experience came a driving passion for broken young girls, a passion
that led to the birth and founding of Mercy
Ministries in 1983 in Nashville, TN.
Since that time,
numerous residential and outreach programs have been established and
hundreds of lives have been transformed in various locations across
America and other nations around the world. An author, Nancy Alcorn
frequently speaks at conferences around the world. Her vision is
powerful and her life story challenges every one to make a
difference.
